This attractive B&B offers guests the opportunities of a wide variety of activities for both a long and short stay. Sevenoaks enjoys the advantage of being only just over an hour's drive from Dover and The Shuttle at Folkestone and is therefore a convenient point to plan a holiday in the area.

Surrounding Sevenoaks are many National Trust and Historic Houses - Knole House, Chartwell (The home of Winston Churchill), Penshurst Place with Sissinghurst Castle, Ightham Moat and Chiddingstone Castle all a short drive away. Many people think that Hever Castle, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn is the most interesting, whilst Leeds Castle describes itself as the most beautiful castle in the world. Gardening enthusiasts enjoy visiting Emmets and Pashley Manor which has a wonderful tulip festival, aswell as many other attractive features. Other historic properties have very attractive gardens.

For guests wanting the best of both worlds, the train service to London is very fast and frequent - four trains an hour taking just over half an hour, arriving at Charing Cross, right in the heart of London. Special TravelCards enable visitors to combine the cost of the fare to London with unlimited travel in London on buses, and the underground railway system. The TravelCard provides a significant saving on individually purchased tickets, and is available from 9:20 am with no return journey restrictions. Use the on-line timetable to plan your trips into town.

Sevenoaks has a wide variety of restaurants, cafés and ample parking is available in the town centre. Our B&B enjoys the advantage of being within 6 or 7 minutes walk of "The White Hart" which is a 16th Century Coaching Inn. There is a high quality restaurant called Blubeckers, with bar snacks also available, in attractive surroundings of great character.

Guests are invited to enjoy the comfort of a family home in a quiet spot adjoining woodland, with caring hosts who are keen to make your Sevenoaks and England visit as happy as possible. Please come - you'll be made very welcome - also by our cats.

Directions

Guest travelling from the East, Dover Ferry Ports and Folkestone, should proceed along the M20 then the M26 leaving the motorway at Junction 2A (Please note there is no exit to Sevenoaks at Junction 5 for travellers from the east). The A25 going west leads to Sevenoaks and our B&B is about one mile from Sevenoaks Town Centre.

Guests travelling on the M.25 from the north or west should leave the motorway at Junction 5 and then follow the A.21 (South) for the short journey to the A.25, where Sevenoaks is signposted.   The route through the town leads to The Rise, on the right, which leads to White Hart Wood.   The B and B is about one mile from Sevenoaks town centre.
